Dhangal is a biographical sports drama.   In this film, Amar Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat plays the role of a coach in wrestling. He trained his daughters (Geeta and Babita) to become world class champions. Mahavir singh himself was a wrestler who gives up wrestling profession because of the unavoidable circumstances of employment and his dream of winning a gold medal for his country was shattered. However, he vows that his son will Dhangal in the light of philosophy I believe our philosophical training enable us to reflect and interpret the film from philosophical perspectives. This critical situation reminds me, Karl Jaspers's idea of the "boundary situation". The boundary situation is generally different from other situations. In the sense, it undermines humans' sense of security and threatens its entire being. One can imagine of boundary situation when one's life is shattered by extreme circumstances that seem difficult to overcome.  The paper attempts to appraise the central cause of Kashmir conflict. It foregrounds India’s military approach to Kashmir and unmasks how this approach is a wrong choice to counter violence, chaos, instability, and radicalization in Kashmir. It also tries to portray how this approach has lead Kashmiri people to existential crisis and other psychological traumas.
