Human beings share various common traits with beasts, but humans alone have the propensity to control the beastly traits and raise above the beastly nature by developing righteousness and other human qualities. There are various characteristics that distinguish humans from beasts. Rational apprehension, morality, sense of responsibility, social relations, values, make humans human in a profound sense.
